Yoji Returns with Empowering New Single 'Liberosis (Set Yourself Free)'

Rising talent Yoji is finally back after taking a little break, and she’s dropped her new single Liberosis (Set Yourself Free)’ on November 1st. It’s a big moment for her because the song shares her journey of working through self-doubt and negativity. She’s getting into themes like self-sabotage and perfectionism, but it’s also about letting go and finding emotional freedom. The track’s part of a bigger project she’s been working on, and it sounds amazing. Produced by 2thousand5, aka Nico Bryant, the track marries Yoji’s soulful vocals with this upbeat, UK garage-inspired sound creating a really catchy vibe as well as being meaningful.

The collaboration between Yoji and 2thousand5 was really natural, despite the geographic distance between the UK and the US. Working remotely, the two artists created something that feels personal but still relatable to pretty much anyone. Yoji recorded Liberosis right from her home studio, and you can hear how she turned her vulnerability into something empowering. The song’s got this upbeat rhythm that’s all about letting go and breaking free from self-doubt. Honestly, it’s the perfect way to make a comeback as it’s powerful, creative, danceable and authentic.

Yoji grew up between London and Suffolkand she’s always drawn inspiration from her own life and experiences. She started writing songs as a kid on the playground and ended up earning a Masters in Popular Music from Goldsmiths. Her family is also very creative and encouraged her, which helped her grow into this versatile artist that she is today. She has self-produced tracks like her Retro Romance from her EP, but she also collaborated with arists like Talay Riley and Jay DX. On top of that, she’s been an openic act at the O2 , performed at London’s Jazz Cafe and other venues.

Beyond her musical achievements, Yoji is really passionate about using her platform to make a difference. She previously released a charity single with Samaritans to support mental health awareness, which shows her commitment to mental health advocacy. With Liberosis (Set Yourself Free)’, she’s doubling down on her message of empowerment and self-expression. It feels like Yoji’s star is only getting brighter and we can’t wait to see what else she’s got in store.
