The Magic of Little Moments: Lexi Berg Releases "In So Deep"
Lexi’s artistry is as compelling as her story. A Swedish-American artist rising from the ever-evolving indie scene of London, her voice is instantly recognizable—raspy, rich, and emotive. 70s songwriting informs her, Swedish pop runs through her veins, and her sound is a mix of classic piano songs, Americana and contemporary folk. Tracks like "Lonely Satellite", have helped Lexi get noticed, with radio acclaim coming from BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and Radio 6, along with heavy rotation on Spotify and Apple Music playlists.
Lexi spent her childhood living on a houseboat in Stockholm and began studying classical piano at the age of five. Then she moved to London and caught the attention of Faris Badwan of The Horrors who produced her debut single "What If". The song was featured in the critically acclaimed film Pieces of a Woman. She then signed with Warner Music UK, released her EP "Empire of One", and performed live with artists including Deacon Blue and The Howling Bells. She also performed notable shows at places including Ronnie Scott's and the O2 Arena.
In the last year, Lexi has prioritized community and connection. She has created a communal music scene with her monthly jam nights and residency at Notting Hill Arts Club, opening the door for up-and-coming artists to get on stage. Her radio show on Shoreditch Radio, Lexi Berg Presents, strips back the tale behind the tracks and highlights other artists while they are in the process of building their careers. Lexi’s reach is expanding, but her authenticity remains her anchor. With In So Deep, she proves once again that honesty and vision are what make something memorable.
