Kelly Morgan journey started music really young. In elementary school, she was already dreaming and seeing herself as a singer and entertainer; she was passionate about it. She was inspired by the legendary Whitney Houston. With her natural talent and hard work, Kelly took every opportunity she got to perform and be on stage. Her love for Whitney Houston’s incredible voice and stage presence really helped her to stay determined as she knew the road she was planning on taking wouldn’t be an easy one.

When Kelly was just 16, she performe on the renowed Apollo stage with Steve Harvey hosting. The audience had mixed reactions, but instead of letting it get her down, Kelly used it as motivation to push harder. She started going after all sorts of competitions and talent nights, knowing that success doesn’t come easy but dedication and work pay. Kelly has been a Rolling Stone featured POP/R&B singer and she performed at the New York Fashion week. Kelly also opened up for Ashanti & Ja Rule and Bone thugs in Harmony. The music video for “I Remember PT2” is Kelly’s first official music video. It was a team effort with a group of friends and dancers. Together they’ve created a really cool visual story. They filmed it in an Atlanta studio with Christian directing. The video aimed to show diversity and bring a sense of nostalgia. Christian mixed scenes of old memories with present-day reflections using projectors to show the ups and downs of past relationships. The song and the video work extremely well together, fusing pop and R&B, showing Kelly’s artistic unique style and ambitious goals.
