Kelly Morgan Releases New Single ‘I Remember Pt 2’: A Story Of Dedication

Kelly Morgan journey started music really young. In elementary school, she was already dreaming and seeing herself as a singer and entertainer; she was passionate about it. She was inspired by the legendary Whitney Houston. With her natural talent and hard work, Kelly took every opportunity she got to perform and be on stage. Her love for Whitney Houston’s incredible voice and stage presence really helped her to stay determined as she knew the road she was planning on taking wouldn’t be an easy one.

When Kelly was just 16, she performe on the renowed Apollo stage with Steve Harvey hosting. The audience had mixed reactions, but instead of letting it get her down, Kelly used it as motivation to push harder. She started going after all sorts of competitions and talent nights, knowing that success doesn’t come easy but dedication and work pay. Kelly has been a Rolling Stone featured POP/R&B singer and she performed at the New York Fashion week. Kelly also opened up for Ashanti & Ja Rule and Bone thugs in Harmony. On top of that she has been on Fox's Emmy award TV show called Teen Kids News in 2019 and 2021. Talkin’ about results! 

Now her new single, "I Remember PT2," is a club-like anthem that’s guaranteed to get people dancing. But it's not just about the beat—mixed with her soulful vocals, it makes the track sound both modern and timeless“I Remember PT2” mixes today's catchy pop with the soulful vibes of classic R&B. This song highlights Kelly’s vocal talent as well as her ability to connect with listeners.

The music video for “I Remember PT2” is Kelly’s first official music video. It was a team effort with a group of friends and dancers. Together they’ve created a really cool visual story. They filmed it in an Atlanta studio with Christian directing. The video aimed to show diversity and bring a sense of nostalgia. Christian mixed scenes of old memories with present-day reflections using projectors to show the ups and downs of past relationships. The song and the video work extremely well together, fusing pop and R&B, showing Kelly’s artistic unique style and ambitious goals.
