Between Beats and Islands: The Rise of a Poetic Voice in French Pop

Beginning with the sensor of Paris and leading to the sunlit sides of Saint Martin, a new voice is emerging in the francophone world and she is for real a tapestry masterpiece. Deeply rooted in hip hop and pop, this singer/songwriter from Paris has managed to carry her passion with her around the world. Since childhood, she has been an avid urban dancer and now her life is a melody that includes studio sessions under palm trees, late night writing sessions in the City That Never Sleeps, and moving like a symphony.

'En émoi' released on April 2025, is a dreamy and rhythmic single that marks a pivotal turn in her musical path—a move toward a more pop-infused universe without losing touch with her hip hop soul. Floating above the catchy beats, whispery vocals will provide the sprinkle. This summer five more songs including a trilogy of sharp, lyrical French rap plus two softer Pop ones, will shape the album along with the beatbox swirling wizard himself Willy Rewind.

The lyrics of her previous track ‘C’est pas les good ones’ illustrate her style. It is an MC Solaar’s finesse with the soft hug of Billie Eilish’s voice. It is how her eloquence is gentle yet harms and speaks simultaneously, soothing and stinging.

She does not only grab the mic as an artist. She holds it as a dancer and beatboxer, letting her body move to the mic. This makes her more than a performer. Her songs capture her love for sounds and understanding of street culture. It is not songs; they are crafted experiences. In the Caribbean and in Paris, her voice only gets stronger with each new location she visits—French but global.
