Shelita unveils her new single "I'm So In Love With You"
Internationally renowned artist Shelita is back with her new single “I’m So In Love With You,” which is the fourth teaser off her upcoming EP “Into The Depths.” The track is like a soulful declaration—part consciously crafted Pop music, part smooth R&B, part old-school hip hop—blended with a finesse born out of understanding the language of emotion. This is more than just a love track, it is a marker of a life remolded.
The beat is woven into a narrative much darker than its warmth implies. This is because, many years back, a parachuting incident in the Seychelles left Shelita embarked on a journey of recovery—surgeries, loneliness, and personal reflection that follows life-shattering experiences. The irony is that this is where, in those very environments where she could feel most damaged, two unexpected mentors appeared to her—first, the silence of nature in the ocean, and second, music. Diving allowed her to discover her unlimited environment once again, while music allowed her to remember that vibration can repair what goes unseen. The result, born out of this depth, became the words to the verses of “I'm So In Love With You,” which were put down while still lying in a hospital bed but already pointing to where there is light.
“This is about the kind of connection that changes everything,” reflects Shelita, and indeed this is what each song embodies. The song is an extension of her already well-received work by NPR, Billboard, and Forbes, but this one propels her into a completely new domain—fearless, boundary-breaking, and distinctly her own. _Into the Depths_—scheduled to come out early 2026—intertwines music influences from Africa, Europe, South America, and the United States to plot out a sonic topography on love, healing, and an awakened consciousness.
