When Music Becomes the Bridge Back Home: Michellar Releases New Single "We Both Can Fall"
The song We Both Can Fall was created because of the fusion of talents of Michellar, Tobias Wilson and Gracie Lou vocal features courtesy of an intercontinental collaboration. Michellar and Tobias were able to work well together when it comes to composing the melody and writing the lyrics until they were able to create this sad story that Michelle wanted to tell with this song; Michelle’s story can never be more true to life because it was taken from her own experience and emotions that she was going through while composing this song. There is an element of Kelly Clarkson inspiration when it comes to song delivery.
Essentially, this song is but a glimpse into the turmoil and passion associated with an ever-changing relationship. Michellar had been experiencing life shifts ever since she started songwriting in 2023 because songwriting became an important part of her daily life; therefore, she started experiencing problems with her marriage. She started reaching back to what once was stable and she believes that no matter how tough life becomes, there’s always a path that leads couples back to each other.
Lastly, among the most outstanding facts about this project is how it was accomplished with contributions from far and wide. The vocals were recorded in San Francisco, with an input with local artist Gracie Lou for the emotional feel of this song. Next was an input from the UK, mastering at Staffordshire by Tobias Wilson due to their common vision despite their distance apart; hence, they put together a product that they were all proud to participate in.
It’s not only lighted with musicality but with the pure truth of emotion that pours out of it. Michellar calls it an outcry—a release of everything she’s been going through. While plans for future performances haven’t yet transpired, the message in these songs has already been conveyed: before taking those steps to walk away, there’s always something to fight for—a light that could ignite clarity and peace once more.
