Becky Raisman’s "Earth Goddesses": A Journey Through Light, Sound, and Strength

Becky Raisman’s new EP "Earth Goddesses" begins like a dream, when imagination awakes and then turns into something bright. The first track, “Moonlight Goddess,” goes through the gentle patterns of hope and introspection. Every note is suspended encouraging us to explore along with it and cherish the wonder we tend to ignore during the daytime hours reminding us that all growth starts quietly.

With the second track "Live It Up, Live It Loud", the mood changes. We hear pop music vibes begging us to get up and dance with abandon and suddenly we feel like the world opens up before us with limitless possibilities.

The final track, "Shining Through My Window," has more rock elements to it. This is a track that's built from the lessons learned. The guitar plays and speaks with determination and her voice responds with grit. This conclusion has no end; instead, it transitions to another horizon.

Together, these three tracks form a portrait of Becky herself: rooted in Highland Park, nurtured through creative study in Chicago, and now thriving in South Carolina and its musical rebellious energy. "Earth Goddesses" honors creativity born from personal growth, community and real joy. This EP is proof that optimism can and has to be a powerful tool for us mere mortals.
